My story…
I’ve loved maps ever since I can remember. My favorite toy as a child was a map puzzle of the USA. I eventually went to college and majored in geography and cartography then was blessed with a career of making maps for some of the largest organizations in the world. Most of my work focused around the numbers and analytics which would often sacrifice the artistic aspects of maps. This nagged at me for many years until one night I grabbed a notepad and started jotting down some of the images or geographic datasets I've come across that could be turned into artwork worthy of display and appreciation.
